CUSTOMER BILL OF RIGHTS

Customer Bill of Rights

Our objective is to develop and deliver quality in everything we do. This means that we must deliver on-time services that exceed customer expectations. To surpass these expectations we continue to implement quality systems and processes that constantly aim to improve how we address our customers changing needs.

We promise to sustain the highest quality of customer satisfaction through personal accountability, professional commitment, and employee empowerment at all levels of our organization. We strive to treat all customers we encounter with courteous and prompt service, integrity and respect.

To have my precious time respected by the company's customer service department in every situation and to have my issue resolved in a single phone call or visit, by one representative who speaks clearly, is easy to understand and has access to my customer records.

To be treated with courtesy and respect as a customer who paid money to the company with the expectation of customer service that cares about my individual needs.

To have adequately trained representatives who know enough to actually solve my problem and who will provide me with an invoice number I can use for a credit if I do not receive great service, as well as the ability to call back or e-mail the same representative should the need arise.

To receive quality customer service - including a pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional representative - OR be compensated for my time and effort.

To rapid access to a live person from a company with sufficient staff so I am not kept waiting on-hold for more than 10 minutes, or I will receive a negotiable credit on my next bill. I also have the right to receive a negotiable credit on my next bill from the company if I am not treated with courtesy and my time is not respected.

DENVER, ENGLEWOOD, SHERIDAN, AND LITTLETON WHEEL ALIGNMENT MECHANICS

If you need Denver, Englewood, Sheridan, Littleton wheel alignment for your car, truck or SUV in the Englewood or Sheridan areas give DR Auto & Truck Repair a call. Most manufacturers recommend 4-wheel alignments. A 4-wheel alignment is performed by putting the measuring heads on each wheel and setting the front wheels to exactly match the direction of the rear wheels.

A 4-wheel alignment from our highly trained and specialized technicians begins and ends with a test drive. This ensures even camber tire wear and makes sure there are no issues with pulling and the steering wheel is straight and centered. Caster and toe are also set for the most complete alignment (to read more about camber, caster, and toe, see the Alignment Fundamentals section below).

Maintenance Tip

Regular alignments will generally save you as much in tire wear as they cost, and should be considered routine, preventative maintenance.

When the service is complete, a print out of the alignment report is given to the customer along with any explanations needed to help them better understand how their vehicle operates.

WHAT'S INVOLVED IN DENVER, ENGLEWOOD, SHERIDAN, LITTLETON WHEEL ALIGNMENT SERVICE

Alignment is an important tool that plays a major role in the operation of a vehicle's tires. It consists of adjusting the angles of the wheels to reduce tire wear and to ensure that vehicle travel is straight and true. When a vehicle is out of alignment, the suspension and steering components are not operating at the proper angles. These conditions are usually caused by worn or damaged components; springs, ball joints, and control arms to name a few. Large impacts from potholes, curbs, or an accident will also affect alignment.

Primary Angles: Camber, Caster, and Toe

The primary angles that can be adjusted are based on the alignment of the wheels relative to each other and to the car body. These angles are the camber, caster and toe.

Camber angle is defined as how far the tire slants away from vertical when viewed directly from the front or back of the vehicle. Camber is expressed in degrees, and is said to be negative when the top of the tire tilts inward toward the center of the vehicle and is positive when the top leans away from the center of the vehicle.

Caster angle is defined as the forward or backwards slope of a line drawn through the upper and lower steering pivot points when viewed directly from the side of the vehicle. Caster is also expressed in degrees and is measured by comparing a line running through the steering system's upper & lower pivot points (usually the upper & lower ball joints of an A-arm suspension design, or the lower ball joint and the strut tower mount of a McPherson strut design) to a line drawn perpendicular to the ground. Caster is said to be positive if the line slopes towards the rear of the vehicle at the top, and is negative if the line slopes towards the front.

Toe angle is defined as the exact direction the tires are pointed compared to the centerline of the vehicle when viewed from directly above. Toe is expressed in degrees or fractions of an inch. Toe setting is usually used to help compensate for the suspension bushings compliance to enhance tire wear. A vehicle's toe setting is one of the most critical alignment settings in relation to tire wear. If a vehicle's toe setting is off a fraction of an inch, it will cause the tire on that axle to actually "scrub" rather that properly roll, causing premature tire wear.
